About The Author: Val Forrester I have lived on the Redcliffe Peninsula since 1973 and have owned my own home in Woody Point for 28 years. When I retired in 1993, after 34 years working as a state enrolled Nurse, I took up wrinting as a hobby. I was born and grew up on a wheat farm in the mid north of South Australia and have always had a penchant for story telling. My Sister and I often acted out our own literary creations, making them up as went along. Although I was not a brilliant student I was always good at English. After leaving secondary education, I worked in several office jobs before taking up nursing. Because of the need to escape from the Psychiatrist I have called Dr. Sydney Morgan in Demon Seed, I was never able to complete my nursing training and worked as state enrolled nurse in hospitals all over Australia for 34 years.Company = Val Forrester
